Product Description
This natural herbicine is produced by the bacteria Streptomyces hygroscopicus and Streptomyces viridochromegenes. Made of two alanine residues and the glutamic acid analog phosphinothricin, it is used as a gene selector in plants. Commonly used plasmids include pGreenII 0229 and pGreenII 0229 62-SK.
