Product Description
Naturally occurring as the mineral called niter, potassium nitrate is used in fertilizer, rocket propellants, fireworks, and food preservatives. It is also used in the heat treatment of metals as a solvent in the post-wash. Additionally, the oxidizing ability, water solubility and low cost make it an ideal short-term rust inhibitor.
