Product Description
Murashige and Skoog (MS) Basal Medium with Vitamins is a complete plant tissue culture medium. It contains all of the macronutrients, micronutrients, and vitamins necessary to enhance plant growth in a number of species. The included vitamins in Murashige and Skoog Medium with Vitamins are Glycine, Myo inositol, Nicotinic acid, Thiamine hydrochloride, and Pyridoxine hydrochloride. Each is individually proven to improve callus development, root formation, and chlorophyll production in plants.
Dissolve MS Medium w/Vitamins in distilled water at 4.43 g/L before autoclaving. Additional media components such as Cytokines, Auxins, Sucrose, and Agar may be added as needed.
For significantly increased efficiency, a sterile solution of MS Medium w/ Vitamins is available.
