Product Description
X-Gal is a histochemical substrate widely used for beta-Galactosidase to identify lac+ bacterial colonies. It is used in conjunction with IPTG for blue/white colony screening. The solution contains 40mg/ml of X-gal (5-Bromo-4-Chloro-3-Indolyl-β-D-Galactopyranoside) supplied in a spray bottle.
